March Madness Imaginisce-Style Card Sketch Challenge

It's March Madness time over at the Imaginisce blog! If you are into sports, (and maybe even if you aren't into them) you know that March Madness is the moniker given to the chaos created by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (college basketball) tournaments that traditionally begins the first week of March. This American tradition sends millons of fans into a synchronized frenzy each year due to the concentrated hype surrounding 69 teams vying for college basketball's biggest prize. While March Madness is a phenomenon typically reserved for the national sports psyche, this month, together with Imaginisce Designer (and Team Leader) Melinda Spinks and I put together a challenge that we hope will help create a little of that frenzy in the Imaginisce papercrafting world, with a March Madness Card Sketch. To enter this sketch challenge and be eligible to win a prize you must use at least 75% Imaginisce products. You can get the full details on the Imaginisce blog, but to get you started, here's the challenge...

March Madness Card Sketch Challenge

Use Melinda's sketch, and incorporate the following into your completed card:
1. Three Patterned Papers
2. Three Colors
3. Three Embellishments

To create my card for this challenge I opted to use 3 of my favorite patterned papers from the Imaginisce Enchanted Collection. I also included the Belle of the Ball Border Stickers, some pretty ribbon all tied up into a bow from the Enchanted Collection Satin Streamers, and some Crystal Hot Rocks that I adhered with my I-Rock tool for my three embellishments. My three colors are pink, blue and orange.

Now before you run off to create a little chaos in your own craft space, stop by the Imaginisce blog to see all the Imaginisce Designer inspiration for this March Madness Imaginisce-style challenge!

Other supplies used to create this card include:
Cardstock from Papertrey Ink and Stampin' Up
Stamps from Papertrey Ink
Dies: Papertrey Ink
Ink: Stampin' Up
Sewing Machine and White Thread
