Merry Christmas from all of us at Cheery Lynn Designs! I hope that your day thus far has been both merry and bright!
A few days ago, having run out of holiday project mojo, I created this spring-like card using Cheery Lynn Designs dies. You can find the links for the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used to create this card at the bottom of this post!
After creating a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch card base, I cut a piece of patterned paper measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and embossed it with the Lattice 2 die. I used both the Accessory Plate that I talked about on this post right here, as well as the large embossing pad kit you can buy from Cheery Lynn Designs right here. For the sentiment, I cut a piece of white cardstock using one of the French Flair dies and then cut that in half to fit under the smaller strip of patterned paper that adorns the center of the cardfront. I also used two of the butterflies from the Dimensional Butterfly Bundles and cut them from white cardstock. After cutting them (they come out of the Cuttlebug beautifully embossed without having to run it through again to emboss!), I then inked them up with some yellow ink so that you can really see the beautiful embossing the dies created on the paper.
This close-up shot allows you an opportunity to see the beautiful embossing on both the patterned paper from the Lattice 2 die, as well as the Dimensional Butterfly die. So pretty!
You can visit the Cheery Lynn Designs online store to purchase these dies for your next papercraft project... and we'd love to see what you create so please leave us a comment on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog (right here) with a link to your design and we'll be sure to visit!
