Gone Scrapping and Examiner.Com

I do believe that it is a perfect day to share with you a card that I made earlier last month as part of the Gone Scrapping Creative Team for publication at Examiner.Com.  I created this Thanks for Everything Card using fresh and colorful Garden Variety patterned paper and Ready Set Chipboard by Cosmo Cricut. I added stiching on all the layers of patterned paper and inked edges to add to the overall homestyle feel of this card that I made for a friend of mine.

It's the first time I used chipboard as the main feature of a card and I think it turned out bee-utiful. When I bought that whole page of the Garden Variety Chipboard I wondered what on earth I would do with all of it... now I know it's just as cute for cards as it is for layouts! The strawberries actually came in one long 12 inch border piece, so I simply cut off a portion for this card.
