I can't even begin to tell you how much it meant to me to have Kristina here at my home in Michigan this past week. We laughed, talked, planned, crafted and just plain had fun together! She was a real trooper too... helped with the little rascal raccoons, opened doors for the dogs (a million or so times), boldly defended her food from the cats and even broken the wine opener (she just might be Wonder Woman... I mean how do you break a METAL wine opener?? LOL).
Anyhow on Friday she helped me "check-in" a new raccoon into our rehab. Raider is a very tame little guy who is going to need a lot of help learning how to be a raccoon before his release, but he took to Kristina right away and as a going away present... on Saturday, he gave her this kiss good-bye... so sweet.
It was so hard to send her off on the plane to return home.... we'll all miss her... and just wish she lived closer!
